If 180 square kilometres of woods, water and moorland is not quite enough, we also have an adventure playground – a safe area for those with boundless energy to blow off steam with freedom to run around and enjoy the fresh air.

Featuring swings, slides, climbing frames and rockers, it is perfectly positioned near the Visitor Centre so you can keep a close eye on the kids while enjoying a drink from the Grab & Go, a takeaway from the café or a picnic you’ve brought from home.

Outdoor play has huge mental and physical benefits for the young and young at heart, so a visit here is time well spent.
