We’re pleased to announce that our work to repair the Devil’s Gulch in Elan Valley has been completed. The Gulch is open once again to the public.
The work, which was carried out by specialist contractors Colin Jones Rock Engineering Ltd, involved descaling the rock formation, anchoring and bolting the rock, along with adding rock netting.
Our contractors have worked hard since the start of January 2023 to complete this work and have finished weeks ahead of schedule.
We want to thank members of the Elan Valley community for bearing with us while the Gulch was closed for safety reasons and while we completed this complex repair.
We are pleased to reopen this popular route from Friday 24 February 2023 for visitors to enjoy once again.
