Head out from Cwmdauddwr for an epic 60km tour of the Elan & Claerwen Valleys. Against a stunning backdrop of magnificent dams and reservoirs, you’ll be crossing open hills, gliding through woodlands and bouncing down bridleways! The trail takes you past the Visitor Centre so do remember to stop off here for a breather and refreshments.
Starting from Rhayader, this difficult route takes in everything that the Elan Valley has to offer for mountain-bikers. The trail requires a good level of fitness and off-road experience as you take in the rapid descents and rocky sections. Some stretches are very technical with loose stones, slabs and drops.
