A 20 minute walk around the base of the largest and newest dam in the Elan and Claerwen Valleys.
Follow the green arrows along a tarmacked route suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

From the information board, walk 50m along the road. Turn right and go through the gate to climb along the side of the hill.
Turn right towards the dam following the green arrows.
At the base of the dam turn left and cross the bridge. Turn left again after the bridge, following the tarmacked path away from the dam.
At the road bridge, turn left again to complete the loop and return to the car park.
A short riverside stroll to a great view of Pen y garreg Dam, this walk should take about thirty minutes and starts in Penbont Car Park.
